KUCHING - The New Zealand Food Fair was being held in Merdeka Palace every
Thursday night in the month of August 2003. The response was good and the place
was fully booked every night it was held. The last evening of the Food Fair was
on Thursday, 28 August 2003 and the lucky draw was held.
The first prize is a return air ticket to New Zealand sponsored by Air New
Zealand and Tourism New Zealand. The other sponsors are Supreme Cold Storage Sdn
Bhd and Choice Daily, major local importers of New Zealand food like New Zealand
lamb, beef, oyster, salmon, green mussels and lots of fresh vegetables and a
good variety of cheese. These can be obtained at retail price at Choice Daily,
Stutong branch and at wholesale price at Supreme Cold Storage Sdn Bhd, 2 1/2
miles Kuching-Serian Road.
The first prize winner of the lucky draw is Vivian Teo Hua Joo of No. 208, Lot
3457, Lorong 13, Jalan Kapor, 93150 Kuching. The other 20 winners, who will each
receive a discount voucher worth RM50 from Choice Daily, are Laura Yiin (0107),

Dialysis Centre, The Sarawak Children's Cancer Society and the Lion Nursing Home
will be held at a later date.
